Milk Short-Grain Rice Granulated Sugar Lemon Peel Orange Peel Cinnamon Stick Ground Cinnamon
First, add the milk, citrus peels, and cinnamon stick to a pot and cook over medium-low heat until boiling.
Once the mixture is brought to a boil, turn off the heat and allow it to sit and infuse for 10 minutes. Then remove the peel and cinnamon stick.
Next, add the granulated sugar to the pot and stir until it is dissolved.
Now add the rice to the pot and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes while stirring constantly.
The rice is done when it's cooked, there is still a little milk left, and the mixture is creamy and a little runny.
Spoon the rice pudding into bowls and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Then cover and allow the rice pudding to cool.
Serve the rice pudding cold as dessert. Enjoy!
