How To Make

Recipes from Europe

If you like cheesecakes, you should try this Basque cheesecake. Originally from San Sebastián in Northern Spain, it's easy to make with basic ingredients!

What You'll Need

Eggs Granulated Sugar Cream Cheese All-purpose Flour Heavy/Whipping Cream

First, preheat the oven to 395 degrees Fahrenheit. In the meantime, crack the eggs and add them to a mixing bowl.

Add the granulated sugar to the bowl and mix well with an electric mixer or a whisk.

Next, add the cream cheese, flour, and heavy cream and whisk well until there are no lumps. Then set the bowl aside.

Line a springform pan with parchment paper. Make sure that the paper extends above the rim of the pan so the cake won't overflow.

Pour the cake batter into the pan and bake at 395 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 - 45 minutes depending on the consistency you want.

Once cooked and golden brown, turn off the oven and let the cake cool in the oven with the door open. Then refrigerate for about 3 hours. Enjoy!
