What You'll Need

Apples All-Purpose Flour Milk Egg Granulated Sugar Salt Oil Cinnamon

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, sugar, and salt.

Add in the egg and whisk again until there are no lumps and the batter is smooth. Set the batter aside.

Next, core and peel the apples. Carefully slice the rings, about 1/4 inch thick. Try to slices them evenly for the best taste.

Now, heat up the oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Using a fork, dunk the first apple slice in batter and coat both sides with batter.

When the oil is hot, gently place the first apple ring into the hot oil. Repeat with more slices, but do not overcrowd the pan.

Cook the slices for roughly 3 minutes on one side, then flip them and fry for another 3 minutes.

When golden brown on both sides, remove the slices and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. Repeat with the rest of the slices.

On another plate, mix the cinnamon and sugar together, and dip the warm rings in the mixture, coating both sides.

Enjoy these apple rings while they are fresh. They taste great on their own or with whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy!
