What You'll Need

Minced Beef Slices of bread (soaked)  Eggs & Onion Garlic & Oil Cinnamon & Cumin Salt & Pepper Sugar & Parsley Tomato Passata Red Wine

First, add the minced beef, bread, eggs, grated onion, minced garlic, cinnamon, cumin, chopped parsley, salt and pepper to a bowl.

Mix well and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Then wet your hands and shape the meatballs into oblong shapes.

Place the meatballs in a greased baking dish and bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.

Next, make the tomato sauce. First, sauté the onions in some oil,  then add the garlic and later the cumin, salt and pepper.

Finally, add the wine, tomato passata, sugar and chopped parsley. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until it thickened.

When the meatballs are cooked, add them to the tomato sauce. Then simmer for another 20 minutes.

Garnish with fresh parsley and/or feta cheese before serving. The meatballs taste great with rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
