Homemade chocolate pudding is a classic dessert that is easy to make... and sure to please any chocolate lover!

First, pour the milk into a medium-sized pot. Also, add the cocoa powder and white sugar. Then set the pot aside for now.

Next, separate the eggs.  Add the egg yolks and powdered sugar to a medium-sized mixing bowl. Save the egg whites  to use for another recipe.

Mix the egg yolks and sugar with the beaters of your electric mixer until the mixture is creamy and light in color.

Next, add the cornstarch and a little bit of chocolate milk from the pot. Continue to mix until there are no lumps.

Back to the pot on the stove. Bring the milk to a boil, then remove the pot from the heat. Now pour in the egg-sugar mixture while whisking.

Place the pot back on the hot burner. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it thicken while whisking constantly. Once thickened, remove the pot from the heat.

Pour the pudding into bowls and place them in the fridge to chill. You can garnish the homemade pudding with whipping cream before serving. Enjoy!
