If you like cheesecake, you have to try Melopita. This delicious Greek honey cake is quite easy to make with just a few ingredients.

What You'll Need

Ricotta Cheese Eggs Honey Cornstarch Vanilla Extract Lemon Zest Ground Cinnamon Olive oil or parchment paper

First, preheat the oven to 320°F and grease a springform pan. Then drain excess water from the ricotta cheese and add it to a bowl. Whisk until smooth.

Next, add the egg and honey. Then also add the cornstarch, vanilla extract, and lemon zest. Whisk until well combined and lump-free.

Transfer the cake batter to the springform pan. Smooth out the top with a spatula.

Bake the cake for 45-60 minutes, or until it is set in the middle and golden brown on top. The excact baking time can vary.

Let the cake cool in the springform pan for a few minutes, then move it to a wire rack to cool fully. Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey. Enjoy!
