If you're looking for a delicious twist on classic mulled wine, you have to try mulled white wine! Slightly sweet and flavorful, it's a holiday favorite in our house!
White Wine Cinnamon Sticks Orange & Lemon Orange Juice Cloves Sugar Rum (optional) Star Anise (optional)
First, wash and slice the orange and lemon. You can save a couple of slices for decoration if you like.
Next, add the white wine, cinnamon sticks, orange and lemon slices, orange juice, cloves, and sugar to a pot. Rum and star anise are optional.
Cover with a lid and heat over low heat for about 30 to 45 minutes. Stir occasionally and don't bring the mixture to a boil.
Taste and add more sugar if needed. Then strain the wine before serving. You can garnish the glasses with cinnamon sticks and citrus slices. Enjoy!
