Tzatziki Sauce (Classic Greek Dip)

How To Make

Recipes from Europe

Tzatziki is a classic Greek sauce. It's fresh and creamy - and pairs well with gyros, souvlaki, and much more. The best part, it's super easy to make!

What You'll Need

Cucumber Greek Yogurt Lemon Juice Olive Oil Garlic Clove Fresh Dill Salt Black Pepper

Shred the cucumber and place it in a colander. Squeeze out as much water as possible to avoid a watery sauce.

Next, combine the cucumber with Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, grated garlic, chopped dill, salt and black pepper.

Mix everything together until well-combined, then place the bowl in the fridge for at least an hour until serving time.

You can drizzle more olive oil on top if you like. Serve with zucchini fritters, gyros, pita, souvlaki or other Greek-inspired dishes! Enjoy.
